Roses Cafe in Healy

Ate breakfast here, it was awesome! The homemade sourdough toast is fantastic, the bacon is thick and the biscuits and gravy were top notch! You get a lot of food for a fair price. If you like spicy salsa give it a go on the eggs. It's a little family run cafe with great service!

Great place to stop when driving to/from Fairbanks. Serves sandwiches, burgers & fries, and great breakfasts. Pancakes are massive. Friendly service. Not crowded in the winter, can get packed during tourist season.

Excellent food! Great portions, and awesome service. Only a short jaunt from Denali National Park. This classic Diner is a must try. Try their grizzly challenge if you think you can handle that bear of a burger 🍔🍔🍔

The food and service were outstanding. Very busy...however service was very quick and perfect.

9-1-16, had breakfast here on our way to fairbanks and was impressed! Sausage biscuits and gravy with bacon was excellent. Wife liked her eggs and potatoes and coffee was good.

Lovely place for a breakfast. Make sure to stop by if you are staying in the Healy,AK are on in transit to Fairbanks. I found the waitress friendly. Their omelettes were bomb and so were their pancakes.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Good service with great home cooked food. Healy Special is enough for two and the biscuits and gravy were very well done. If you're in the Denali area, Rose's is worth a stop.

The food is prepared with alot of effort, good food, they have a long wait when there's more than 4 people sitting in the restaurant

Truly amazing food! I had a burger with all the 'fixins, including egg, jalapeno, and avacado. These people were so good at cooking food I came back for breakfast before leaving town. You guys are so nice and such great cooks!

Good place to eat on the way to denali from fairbanks. 20mins from denali.

This cafe is family owned & off the state highway 3. Its has lots of parking space and this cafe is near to Denali National Park entrance. We tried pan cake & veggie omelet, they were awesome. If you love spicy food, ask for their special homemade pickle (chutney).

Excellent breakfast, so much food I wont need to eat the rest of the day.

I drove more than an hour to eat breakfast here. Everything else from Cantwell on up was closed. I enjoyed a big breakfast and a great cup of coffee (only $150). I 'll definitely stop in here again.

Awesome food, homemade sourdough bread was delicious.

The service was fast and friendly and the food was good (burger and hash browns really hit the spot). Inside this unassuming building is a small homely dining area with photos of Alaskan animals and John Wayne on the walls. And there's the faint smell of grease which isn't bad but you know you'll smell a bit like fried food when you leave! Only real con; there's OAN playing a bit too loudly on TV in the corner of the room but maybe that's a pro to others!

Big portions, great service and delicious food

Rose's Cafe is hit or miss with service, usually miss unless you get Rose, then you're golden. The lead server always seems stressed out, and that trickles down to the other servers and even into the kitchen. The food is good, typical American food. Prices are Alaska expensive, but not terrible compared to the touristic places in Denali. Donuts are nice and chewy, coffee is perfect to wake you up, Sourdough is delicious. I go here maybe once a month to get my Americana fix.

Fantastic food for the price here in the middle of Alaska. They know their customers and the portion servings were Hardy and large. Nice hot homemade hot sauce and excellent sour dough breads.

Rose's is always a good time for some home cooked breakfast. Of course it isn't a five star establishment, but the food it first rate! They have pancakes bigger than the plate and a delicious breakfast burrito covered in gravy. Their large portions ensure that I always leave feeling stuffed.

Was recommended to camp in Healy and I'm so glad I did. Waking up that morning I had the longing for that home cooked breakfast my aunt would make. Growing up in California, the French toast is thin and hashbrowns are about the quarter size of a regular plate. At Rose's Cafe, you are served food to not just fill your hungry belly, but with the quality only home cooked meals can have. Returning for breakfast everytime I'm back in town. See you next season!

A friend recommended this place. Today, my whole family were driving up to Fairbanks from Anchorage and we stop at this place. Great service, and amazing food. I definitely recommend this place but make sure check there hours. They have different hours depending on the season.

I came here on my birthday and I was happy with the food, but the server spent all her time BSing with a customer and looked at you like you were rude for interrupting her to ask for more water. There is nothing special about the place. It's a stop on the parks Highway that I wouldn't waste my time to even pull over for again, let alone think about bringing your family to celebrate any occasion lol.

Holy cow are the pancakes huge! But man is this place good. Nothing like a huge breakfast before hitting Denali for a hike. The service was quick and food tasted good and was at a reasonable price given the price gouging that exists at other places in the area.

This place is amazing for breakfast. The portions will get you set for a day of hiking through Denali. The sourdough donuts are huge and the breakfast burrito is an unwritten contract to exercise for at least 6 hours. Indoor and outdoor (screened) seating.

Food was delicious and service was great.

We had breakfast here a couple day and it was great. We never left hungry and felt we got a great value. The pancakes were huge, super fluffy and tasted great. The bacon was perfect every time I couldn't be happier and just wish we lived closer so we could go there this weekend.
